1. I will communicate openly and truthfully about the nature and extent of services provided.
Oasis provides education classes, clothing, food, after school and teen program. The clothing and food distribution is only for homeless,fire victims, flood victims and domestic violence victims. The policy was changed about a month ago. When clients come to us asking for services we are honest to what services we provide and if we do not have the services, we refer them to reliable sources. For an example, a client came to me needing clothes for herself and I wasn't able to get them to her because she didn't meet the requirements. I did give her a flyer with Eva's village and Cumac information on it. This why she can go to these agencies and reserve the clothing she needs.

Oasis provides after school and teen programs for the children of Paterson. The teen program is free of charge and the after school program is affordable. For example, We fill out wellness assessment on all clients and if they have children with out insurance we provide them will the contact information to receive the services they need. Also if they have children we provide them with the information on the after school program.

These principles are important to have because honesty is an important value to have. It is very important to be honest of the services we provide and have reliable resources to give clients to help meet their needs. The children's health and education needs are very important to meet. The child's safety and well being is one of our main concerns, so we do all we can to help meet those needs. We are a Haven for women and children so we do all we can to help save one life at a time, That's our motto at Oasis.
